The house in Ochojec, with an adjacent small garden, assigned two parking places and a storage shed, is designed for a family of five that has been looking for a modest and functional space for dwelling. It is located on the inner suburbs of Katowice, on a plot of about 400m2 which takes an advantage of its location on the corner and position of the neighbours’ single-family houses. The house to be made of raw materials and simple structural elements is to provide a spatial and economical alternative to a typical apartment in Katowice, which suffers for a shortage of bigger dwellings in reasonable prices.
