concept:
The house is designed on a plot covered with many trees, located on the border of The Kampinoski National Park near Warsaw. The aim of this project is to preserve as much as possible existing trees and tactical insertion of a new house in the existing landscape. Enlarging the contact surface between the house and surrounding forest allows to create at the same time additional outdoor spaces which during warm days become a natural extension of the living space. Proposed form of the building enables new views towards the forest providing even more intensive contact with the surrounding nature.

The house is designed in wood frame structure. Using larch boarding on the façades allows to hide part of the windows without disturbing the view. Thanks to the variable depth of the wooden sidings the additional play of vertical shadows resembling natural light in the forest is achieved.
